Just like a stapler...but longer. Works fine. I wouldn't purchase it if you intended heavy duty use, but for light duty it is fantastic. The best part is the price. I was looking at a near exact model at Office Depot for $32. This is a comparable product and a fraction of the cost. Plus, honestly, it's just a stapler!

I'm a teacher, and I have used this stapler heavily for a month and a half with few problems. The black rubber foot keeps falling off, but it's easy to put back on. Overall, it seems fine, but it's definitely not the top of the line.
