I had a Swingline which died within a year. The Bostitch is more powerful. It staples with a POW as opposed to a KACHUNG. It was a little tricky to load the first time. The tray doesn't always pop all the way out and has to be pulled out. But that's minor. I love that it loads with a full strip of staples.
